About this Site
This site was redesigned by Cheryl E. Ball on August 20–21, 2003, in Dreamweaver 4, Photoshop 6, and Image Ready 3. The root and second-level index pages use the Eurostile typeface. As a collector of ceramic flamingos, Cheryl chose the same clip-art that appears on her business card, which she modified to have more depth.

About the Designer
Cheryl is finishing her dissertation on teaching new media in the Rhetoric and Technical Communication Program at Michigan Tech, where she is the associate director of the Computers in Writing-Intensive Classrooms (CIWIC) institute. She is the co-CoverWeb editor of Kairos and the associate editor of Computers and Composition. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in poetry from Virginia Commonwealth University where she completed the school's first, interactive electronic thesis. She can be reached at <ceball@mtu.edu>.
