Ball, Cheryl E., & Ellison, Katherine. (2009, January 31). Video poetry: Turning print literature into digital media. Expanding Your Horizons through Math, Science, and Technology Conference. Illinois State University, Normal, IL.

description
Two one-hour workshops for girls ages 8-13 who are interested in math and sciences. Ellison and I introduced them to the concept of digital humanities, providing them with sample videos and graphics that they could remix, based on a theme of civil rights (since the workshop was close upon the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday).
